And I know there will be no more tears in heaven

Dearest Cathey,

Every time that I see Bryer horses, ridiculously thick ponytails, illegal u-turn symbols, the coke slushies at the Houlton Irving, the latest Janet Evanovich book, Cadbury Creme Eggs, Tassels, my stitching I will think of you my friend.  May you find peace in a place where pain can touch you no longer.

Dear followers of Pumpkin Patch an Co. I regret to inform you that our friend Cathey has passed away.  After all that she has been through she was at least granted a peaceful death with the shortest possible hospital stay, the best of the worst.  While cancer may have broken her body, it never broke her spirit.  The remainder of the arrangements are incomplete at this time.

Thank you for sending word of Cathey. I have been thinking of her a lot lately and wondering how she is....

I know that I didn't "know" her, but like a lot of bloggers I got to know her through her blog posts about stitching and life... and following her pregnancy and Junior, and her terrible battle with cancer.

My heart goes out to Cathey's husband and baby boy, and to her family and friends. The world is missing an Angel on Earth now, and Heaven has a new Angel above looking down on us.

Cathey was an inspiration to us all with her fighting spirit... She is now safe and without pain.

She will be missed...

Hugs xx

From her Dad on Facebook:

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear daughter Cathey. She slipped away very peacefully just before 4 pm this afternoon with her husband Paul at her side. Funeral arrangements are not complete yet other than to say it will be held here in Liverpool. When more details are known we will pass them on. On behalf of Zoe and I and the Magill family we thank everyone for all the messages we have received this past week. Cathey fought the cancer as long as she could but in the end it won. Now she is at peace.

Katie
Thank you for Cathey's beautiful story! I read her blog and was very touched by her story. My Mother died of breast cancer when I was 19. I prayed for Cathey and her family but I guess God had better plans for her. I will continue to keep her in my prayers.
